1. Name of the Post:

Junior Research Fellow

Number of Vacancy:

Project title:

Exploration and adoption of solvent based muga cocoon cooking technology for increasing its reelability and raw silk quality.

Stipend / Fellowship:

Rs. 20,000/- with NET/GATE and Rs. 15,000/- for others plus HRA

Desirable Qualification/ experience:

First Class M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with research/working experience in Micro-biology/Bio-Chemistry or relevant field

Age limit:

28 years (as on 20.04.2021)

2. Name of the Post:

Project Assistant

Number of Vacancy:

Project title:

Effect of various host plants separately and in combination on rearing & grainage performance of Muga silkworm, Antheraea assamensis, Helfer

Stipend / Fellowship:

Rs. 12,000/- consolidated (Rs. 15,000/- for PGDS holders)

Essential Qualification:

First Class B.Sc. in Life Sciences

Desirable:

Post-graduate Diploma in Sericulture (PGDS) or research/working experience in Sericulture or relevant field .

Age limit:

25 years (as on 20.04.2021)

Project Assistant

Number of Vacancy:

Project title:

Development of Honeycomb mountages and harvesting technology for muga cocoon production with improved uniformity and raw silk recovery

Stipend / Fellowship:

Rs. 12,000/- consolidated (Rs. 15,000/- for PGDS holders)

Desirable Qualification/ experience:

First Class B.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences/PGDS with research/working experience in Sericulture or relevant field

Age limit:

25 years (as on 20.04.2021)
